Project Summary

We firmly believe we can best accommodate students and offer excellence in our educational and extra-curricular programs by improving our facility. The CCCS Board and Administration desire to reduce the travel time and costs for students and families by bringing all events back to a central location on the current school property. Constructing a new multi-purpose facility accomplishes this important goal, while providing adequate space for all school events.

The new facility will house a full-sized regulation basketball court to be used during the season for practices and home games. The court will also be available for use by physical education classes during the winter or when the weather prevents outdoor activities. A new stage in the gymnasium will create a bigger space for our drama programs, while also increasing the number of seats in the audience. This stage will also be used for all music concerts, programs, graduations, chapels, and assemblies. The space will be equipped with a quality sound and lighting system.

When you experience a school drama program, you see students who are more confident speakers in front of a group, working well together in a team, encouraging one another, and taking on leadership roles. It’s also a great way to build school unity!

The projected cost (and our campaign goal) for the below plan is $1.5 million, and the campaign will cover a 2-year period. We are hopeful that we will be able to break ground next summer, but this will depend on the generosity of giving.
