About the Campaign
Nineteen years ago, a group of parents and educators listened to the call of God on their hearts and took a leap of faith by founding CCCS. They recognized the need to create a non-denominational Christian school in Columbia County, and sacrificed to make it happen. Since its founding, God has blessed CCCS immeasurably. We are grateful for the leaders, families, and ministry partners that have dared to believe in the impact Christian education can have in strengthening a child's foundation and instilling a confidence in Christ's power for the future.
During the 2019-2020 school year, we will celebrate our 20th anniversary. While this milestone reminds us to be thankful for the seen and unseen ways that God has touched the lives of countless students, parents, faculty, and benefactors, it also invites us to look ahead to the future of CCCS. In order to fulfill our mission of "teaching the whole child to impact the whole world," we must continue to step out in faith and strengthen our students for the future. We believe this means providing opportunities for their growth, not just intellectually, but also physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
In order to improve and grow the programs that create a well-rounded education for our students, the CCCS Board and Administration believe now is the time to expand our facilities through the construction of a new multipurpose building. The addition will house a gymnasium for our athletic programs, physical education classes, drama and music events, and student chapel services. We are now entering into a two-year capital campaign to obtain the funds necessary for these enhancements.
The theme of our campaign is "Fortify Their Future," as we seek to remember that this is not just about a building. Instead, it is about creating increased learning opportunities for our students as they discover the truth God is speaking over their lives and the promises He holds for their futures. It is our prayer that the students of CCCS, whether in the classroom, on the court, or on the stage, answer the call to stand firm and proclaim Christ's Kingdom.
Will you prayerfully consider how you can assist us in this mission? Will you consider giving financially—a onetime gift or perhaps even on a monthly basis? We are calling upon our loyal parents, alumni, friends, and supporters to make a significant and meaningful investment in the future of our students and our school.
We believe that as we unite around this vision, generously committing our gifts of faith and resources—each doing what we can—Columbia County Christian School will be positioned to continue the legacy with which we are entrusted with renewed boldness.
In His Service,
