Middle & High School Programs
Middle School includes Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth grades. Students move from subject to subject on a rotating schedule. Academically, math and language arts continue to be the center of attention, while the biblically-based natural and social science curriculum expand so that students learn to understand God's world correctly. These core subjects are supplemented with special classes in art, music, physical education, and Spanish. Students are encouraged to share their gifts with others through dramatic performances, concerts, praise band, spelling bees, and leadership opportunities like student government.
It is not our goal that students simply survive the challenges of Middle School, but that they thrive, forming the bonds of friendship that will build the memories they have for the rest of their lives.
High School students are stretched and challenged by a college preparatory curriculum taught from a distinctively Christian perspective. Their rotating schedule gives them access to a team of highly qualified educators committed to the growth of their students as they look toward the future. A science lab and computer lab support advanced classes like calculus, chemistry, physics, and comparative religion. English classes stress writing and literature, and history is studied through the lens of God's redemptive work among mankind. Core subjects are supplemented with electives including art, choir, yearbook, Spanish, and physical education.
As we strive to help our students develop into the Christian leaders of tomorrow, we see the value in a well-rounded education built on a biblical foundation. Our extracurriculars, including fine arts and athletic programs, continue to engage students outside of the classroom as they embrace the understanding that all abilities—mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual--should be used for the Lord.
